Conference 01|2025

The annual SwissCollNet Conference took place on 17th of January 2025 in UniS, Bern and the event was attended by almost 140 participants.

The 2025 conference highlighted the results of the numerous SwissCollNet projects and adressed the development of the data infrastructure (DAGI) and online portal SwissNatColl, as well as selected topics that span across all projects such as imaging, digital transformation or community building. By featuring key partners of SwissCollNet in a panel discussion (musnatcoll, SCNAT, InfoSpecies), the future of SwissCollNet has also been debated.

The event consisted of four blocks, two in the morning and two in the afternoon (complete programme in the right panel). In addition to the long talks, several short oral presentations allowing participants to present their projects within a three-minute timeframe were given throughout the day. Each half-day as well featured a poster session.
