Documents and guidelines for granted projects

1. Getting started

The grant opening request has to be submitted electronically.

Guidelines Grant Lifetime Management
Please read the Guidelines carefully as well as the conditions outlined in the ruling letter.

Lay summary
Prior to the release of funds, a lay summary needs to be submitted in English and one of the national languages of Switzerland. The lay summary will be published on the SwissCollNet website.

Conditions outlined in the ruling letter
If the submission of a revised project description is requested, revise your project description according to the specific conditions communicated in the ruling. You may modify the project description directly in your original document or download a new 'template form for project descriptions'.
If the submission of a revised budget is requested, please resubmit your budget either by modifying your original budget or by downloading a new 'SwissCollNet finald budget' template.

Start date
Please note that the project has to start no later than 4 month after the date of the ruling letter and should start at the beginning of a month.

Fund Release Form
Please fill in and return a signed Fund Release Form.

Collection survey
Collection surveys for collections targeted by the project have to be submitted by the main- and co-applicants before requesting the opening of the grant.

2. Annual reporting

The reporting requirements and responsibilites are described in the Lifetime Management Guidelines. All projects must submit an activity report and a financial report on an annual basis. Projects that last 12 month or less only have to submit one activity report at the end of the project.
